We are thrilled that you have decided to join Kayzar. You can join at any time (you don't have to wait for the start of term). There is no need to book your place in advance for our streetdance styles or adults classes, just turn up on the day of your chosen dance class. We look forward to meeting you! Please note booking is required for Ballet, Tap, Modern and Musical Theatre classes. Please contact us on 01268 280319 to join any of these classes.

YOUR FIRST CLASS

On arrival at your first dance class you will need to complete a simple registration form. Please allow 5-10 minutes for this. We recommend that you print off and complete the form in advance and bring it with you on the day. If not, we will have a form for you to fill in at the studio.

FURTHER CLASSES

Once you have joined please arrive 5 minutes before the start of each class so that classes can start promptly. All students MUST visit reception to register their attendance upon arrival and pay any fees due BEFORE the class begins. Please do not assume that the receptionist knows you and has automatically ticked you off because they will NOT until you come forward and register. For health and safety reasons we must have the correct head count of students in the studios in case of a fire or other emergency.

ABSENCE

If a student is likely to be absent due to illness, please kindly let us know by calling 01268 280319. If a student is absent for 3 consecutive classes with no communication, we will assume the student has left and their place may be offered to someone else.

WHICH CLASS?

If you are uncertain which dance class is best for you or have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us by email to info@kayzar.co.uk or by calling 01268 280319.

class fees

Our general classes operate as " pay and dance". You just turn up, pay and dance. Simple! You can also pay for a 6 week block if you wish.

For our crews you pay monthly. This works out as much better value and improves efficiency. If you think you will experience difficulty in paying monthly, please do not hesitate to speak to Nader to organise an alternative payment arrangement.

PLEASE NOTE - entry into our crews is by invitation only. Contact us on 07762669594 for an audition slot.

HOW CAN I PAY?

IN CASH - in person at our studio reception. DO NOT SEND CASH IN THE POST

BY CHEQUE - please place in an envelope and include Student Name, Dance Class Day and Time and a Contact Number. Cheques can be posted in the payment box in the foyer, or handed to reception. Please make cheques payable to "Kayzar". Please note a fee of £10 will be charged to the payer for any cheques returned unpaid by the bank. PLEASE DO NOT POST-DATE YOUR CHEQUES!

what should i wear?

Students are required to purchase a class uniform (t-shirt, jogging bottoms and optional hooded sweatshirt) after their first month. For drop-in classes this is optional but recommended so that all students are unified and can represent their dance school.

Until your uniform arrives we recommend that you wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can move around easily in and trainers/dancing shoes.

Please note that we order our uniform from an outside company who require bulk orders (minimum of 20). This may mean there is a delay in the processing of your order as we wait for other orders to come in to reach the minimum number of items. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

anything else?

We recommend that you bring a bottle of water to refresh yourself. We have a small tuck shop selling snacks and drinks so you may want to bring some money for this. All items are £1.

Other than that, feel free to bring along some friends and be prepared to have lots of fun!!

We offer great incentives if you "bring a friend" - please ask at reception for our current incentive.

Often we will invite students attending our drop-in classes to join our intermediate / advanced classes if we feel it will challenge them more and ensure they are reaching their full potential. This is optional and students are able to decline and continue attending drop-in classes as they please.
